Women Lifestyle and Empowerment

Lifestyle for Empowerment, for me is heading to the beach, precisely the Mediterranean.

Hi everyone!

Welcome to my website! My name is Ninar Keyrouz, and I am an award-winning Film Producer , a global Communications Strategist and author of the memoir Almost home. But first and foremost, I’m a woman!

Born and raised in Beirut, Lebanon, a city on the Mediterranean coast of a Near- Eastern country bridging the East and the West, while being in the heart of the Arab region, technically in Asia, and close to North Africa. That’s how international I am! Not to forget the Francophone society I lived in and the French education I received and completed all through high school, before attending the  Lebanese American University in Byblos, Lebanon, where I completed my B.A. in Communication Arts/ Film and TV Production.

At the age of 25, I decided to pursue my American dream and move to Washington D.C., the city that became my second home away from home. My long and extensive career in multi-media production and communications strategy kept my international lifestyle alive and made me what I believe and admire any person to be: deeper, cultured, connected and tuned in to the world and to my inner-self.

I believe in the art of being a woman, L’art d’être femme; Leading a balanced lifestyle of looking good and feeling good, working to live- and not living to work- a lifestyle which has proven to be very empowering to me personally. And I’m so so so excited to be sharing it with all the ladies out there! So join me on my journey! Ninar

First published in 2013 as the first Kindle book in Lebanon, I had removed my book from Amazon a few years ago, as it seemed outdated; my journey has witnessed many achievements, closures, new ventures, maturity and naturally change. Nevertheless, I decided to publish it again as I realize that life is an ongoing journey, and our future is a result of our present and past as well. I am happy to be sharing with you my older journal of how my life between my home country, Lebanon, and my adopted one America, was.
If you're a woman, an immigrant, an uprooted person, or even anyone who loves to vividly live a first hand story on cultural shocks, family, nostalgia, love, and a bucket of many other emotions, this short memoir is for you!
